Is this worth a watch?

I’ve yet to start this. But everything I’ve read, it’s a hot mess. And honestly a rare miss for Apple as they’ve had pretty high quality stuff so far.

I liked the first episode, but after that the writing went into a weird direction (for my taste) and I dropped after 3 episodes.
They had a good cast and a start, not sure why they decided to go beyond a simple but fun (again, for my taste) concept of “A comedy about ex-con who solves cases as a private detective”.

I didn't finish the series. The writing could have been far better.

I enjoyed it but also found many of the characters to be obnoxious, I think a lot of the humor didn't land for me.

Apple really cuts their content some slack. Of course some shows will get cancelled but in general they at least give their shows some room to breathe and develop.

Apple has been one of the few good streaming services. That and Peacock seem to be the only ones that give a shit.
