POV you (innocent child) are about to be beat up by a gang of shitfaced young men with meticulously carved masks and a masterfully crafted demon costume (created for the sole purpose of beating up children once a year) while the whole village cheers them on.
The fact that out of all the traditions, this one we keep around, makes me immensely proud.
