I feel it's more like a onesie or a romper. Or just create a whole new category, The Tuber.

Would a sweater even do much for a cold-blooded animal? I guess they still produce some heat

It wouldn't really warm him up necessarily, but it'd definitely help with retention of preexisting heat.
