My mooncat order arrived recently and after spending a couple of hours with the most mish mashed of skittles I decided to do a full manicure with midnight rider. It's really lovely!! I do think I could get a similar effect layering elixir of everlasting life over a black polish to get this strong blue shimmer and scattered holo; but it wouldn't exactly have the same depth as this black jelly base, so I don't regret buying both 😅 alt text: a hand showing nail polish: a dark base with strong blue shimmer and scattered holographic glitter

Omg the compression artifacts are hardcore. But they don't really interfere with the nail polish part of the picture afaict so I'll leave it as is 😅
