Castopod is a great way to self-host a podcast which interacts with the fediverse

I spun up an instance on my personal server to host a podcast that my wife and her friend started, and it's been working great! Has a few rough edges, but it does everything one needs to inexpensively get a podcast out onto the internet without relying on a non-free hosting platform.
