Interesting. I wonder how loud it would be running an amp sim plugin from a DAC...

Good Question - it has got no Preamp, so its not the way meant to be used i guess. I use my BOSS GX-100 Multi as preamp in front of it.

I suppose the DAC would act as the preamp, no?

Would be worth a try - never thought about that as i got active Speaker on my DAC^^
