I'm in northern BC and this certainly holds true here. We've had barely any snow until one dump a few days ago, and then positive temperatures since so it won't stick around long. Yesterday felt like a warm early spring day with all the melt.

On the Great Lakes it's felt way more like Easter than Christmas.

Yeah I'm a bit north of Toronto, and today has been the only cold day we've had in a while. We also have only about an inch of snow right now, and it's supposed to warm up. So I don't think we'll be getting a white Christmas this year

In Atlantic Canada yesterday it was 10 degrees Celsius. It should be -15 by now.

20-30c higher than normal here in SK too.

I just want safe ice for fishing and fluffy snow for snowboarding. Fuck this half winter shit where we get 1 day of cold then 2 days of rain.
