I have the same issue using Connect.
it should be some issue with lemmy.world itself IMO, since other instances work fine with it.
also, using the web frontend of lemmy.world does strange things too and throws errors as well.
hopefully world can keep up with the sudden demand

nginx bad gateway is usually a problem on the server itself. the webserver software communicates internally with something else to get the content for your request and that doesn't work. if you're not the admin, there's not much you can do.

Getting the same, plus a banner at the bottom that says "lemmy.world is under maintenance" every now and then while scrolling thru posts.
