I've seen the Sunnyvale tennis center convert a couple tennis courts into temporary pickleball courts to meet demand since at least the beginning of this year. I wonder if they'll actually make the investment to build more dedicated courts.

Think tennis but with a half-sized court so you can walk/jog instead of run/sprint to the ball and with a plastic ball and paddles. Pretty fun!
