Sure, but the people that made that software had to pay electricity bills and capital purchases of computers. The fact that they decided to release that as free (freedom and price) software is a different topic, itself laudable but most times not even altruistic.

And on the "arbitrarily taken away" topic, you seem to be against "services" and not necessarily software (the means to the end).

This blog post reminds me of Discord's dates, often times used as release date indicators (of a game, update, stream, etc), and could be fit for <time> for what the user intends.

These could be native popovers, popovers using JS or even custom :after CSS pseudo elements.

The runtime is for launching games, not Steam itself. You can check the runtime selection in Compatibility tab of Steam and of each game. If your Steam Flatpak install doesn't work, the issue is likely somewhere else.

I'd suggest trying to launch the flatpak from the terminal and seeing if there's any strange logging.

It's great that they made a funny from a saddie. This is how you move forward and own your saddies.

Honestly, I'm very happy that your post has the highest score.

All other people are spewing vitriol over either parent and not even trying to be understanding. Life is about making and learning from mistakes, and mistakes can be oh-so-horrible at times. Character value is measured by how well you navigate the stormy waves, and there's almost never a single correct choice.

Croquettes are not "something veggie". You can make them as breaded bechamel, but often they're filled with pork ham or chicken bits. You may find more fancy varieties with seafood or mushrooms, but overall I wouldn't consider them "something veggie".

Is Spain primarily meat-eating? Yes. If that's your concern, be upfront about it but don't generalise saying that Spain cuisine sucks.
