Maybe i just had very high expectations. I absolutely loved the game and i guess i went in expecting a lot more. They hired some really talented animators, and I think the adaptation deserved to be one of the best animated shows with excellent 3dcg and fight choreography (esp with thw games stunning animation as reference).
I hope they really step up their game for the remaining episodes.
If you are coming from the game then its mostly disappointing. From what I've heard, the production was a mess. animation quality was sub par, due to not giving animators enough time.
Adapting a video game is pretty hard by itself, so with the scheduling issues it tuened out ro be disappointing.

Explain to me how being killed at birth depending on sex is not a valid response to your completely incorrect and ignorant statement that babies are treated the same irrespective of sex.
Depending on the country, really really early. e.g. - in India its illegal to disclose the sex of the fetus to the parents/family because of high female infanticide.
In-laws, the father, and many times even the mother will want a son to carry on the family name instead of a daughter who will be married off to some other family (with the cost of marriage and dowry). And it was quiet common for the fetus to be aborted if it was female. The situation has improved a bit today, but gerl children are still treated very poorly is many parts of the country.
Of course, girls here are treated a million times better than trans folk here. 90% of them (hijra community) are beggars on the streets/trains.
Basically theres a lot more content present on the screen.
The "reply"/"comment" implementation isnt that great because it pops up a new box on screen hiding the comment/post i'm replying to behind it, so here i think jerboa's implementation is nicer.
I hope someone developes something with a compact view like RIF had. Using jerboa right now and I'm not really comfortable with it. Also for some reason it doesnt support T9 input so thats sad too.
That I agree with. Its going to take me years to finish this game.
I think that the design philosophy on the switch is to allow games to have short gaming sessions - so you can accomplish something in 10-15 minutes. And the drawback of this is there are so many small things to do that it is constantly distracting.

Yeah, I'm already úsing that. It improves the front page a bit, but comments have a lot of blank spaces between them.
And most importantly, my T9 keypad doesnt work.
GDPR is an EU law. I think maybe California has some similar state level law, but I havent heard of any equivalent law exists for the USA.

I have to disagree that its the same hyrule. They've added just so mush more stuff!!
Botw hyrule was already pretty big. Totk hyrule is what - 2.5 times bigger?
I loved exploring in botw, so this version is more enjoyable for me.
I do miss the Hero Cycle though.
