I got one friend that did the same. I would just say something positively that a socialists country/person did.

Like how great it is that China got so many people out of poverty or how great it is that Havana is capable of growing a majority of all the vegetables and fruits that it's citizens require.

After some time he would stop asking because he couldn't stand that they are actively trying to better the life's of its people and are achieving so many great stuff.

Those downvotes, some Libs got upset. Love the feeling knowing that they were annoyed by this.

Btw (specially for the Libs): The good that communism brought by far outweighs that bad. We should seek/support the liberation of the proletariat al around the globe.

We appreciate good faith questions and engagement at Lemmygrad. If that is why you are here, welcome; we do not want to put you off. However, your question/post/comment includes problematic claims/statements that are not conducive to good faith discussion. The problem might be: anti-communism, historical inaccuracy, revisionism, reactionary talking points, bigotry, liberal propaganda, a loaded question, assuming that we will all agree about what you might think are uncontroversial facts, or something else. If you re-word your question we can have a more productive conversation.

I'm from The Netherlands too and totally agree with you. The bourgeoisie (the right) really used corona for there agenda. Society seems worse of than before corona. And the many years of neoliberalism also had it's toll on the country and society.

Ali is realy good, the more I use it the more of the products I recognise in the stores (I life in Europe). Last week I saw a product that I bought on Ali for €0,65 being sold for €5,70?! I don't mind payling a little more over here, but almost 9x more?! And we all know where the profit is going, it's really ridiculous that the workers won't see any of it.

Around 30 degrees, but my landlord (i live in a student house) doesnt do any maintenance/isolation. So during the day it is about 35/36 degrees in my room.

Most of the time I just go to the libary, University or the park because i just can't stay at home...
