Playing it on kde/wayland on arch for a long time now, and both native and windows client through proton work just fine.

Das selbe was aus golem.de geworden ist, nur halt schon wesentlich früher.
Not sure how well an AMA would work with the delay it sometimes takes to sync comments from the different fediverse instances.

For server software I prefer docker/podman,
For desktop apps I prefer native and then flatpaks
