They’re using a +60 year old tank. If it exploded when they fired it, either the breach or barrel failed in some way that couldn’t contain the ammunition.
That means they probably weren’t properly maintaining or inspecting it. Weapons can be safe if they’re treated properly (and you’re not on the business end of them).
Call me nuts, but I think I preferred the earlier version of valhiem (pre magic). I’ve played ~300 hours of Valheim (last played 2 years ago) so I’ll definitely give this a go but I’m not pumped.
You’re putting a lot of words in my mouth to suit your own view point, I don’t understand the antagonism coming from you.
You’re the one that brought native Americans into this, when I said common man I meant anyone who’s not a billionaire/politician.
I don’t understand what point you’re trying to make with this continuation, it feels like you’re trying to “gotcha” me without using anything I’ve actually said.
Literally everyone who took part in massacre of the buffalo in the late 1800’s is dead; what is the point of your comment besides some jab at the common man?
First hand experience in CA, the training is pretty minimal and you’re basically thrown into the deep end. It’s like reading about driving and then your first driving experience is the Indy 500.
Most people you interact with are belligerent (cus 99% of the time you’re not there to help them) or mentally off (yay for the lack of societal safety nets) and it’s drilled into you that every encounter could be deadly
I think the training is crap because of historical reasons initially, but now because it’s a political machine and there’s no reason for those in power to want to change it. They’re seeing the results they want to see, otherwise things would’ve changed by now.

I thought it was hilarious that the protagonists (L and that other chick) cared about exacting justice against the military, and then nuked a bunch of captive pregnant women in the upside down
Didn’t they say they were going to come back for them?

Isn’t Dutch like that? Sounds like English until you pay attention
I wouldn’t say that, the amount of vulnerabilities it’s discovering (and capable of exploiting) is frightening
That’s a pretty gross oversimplification

Jack Black has been Flanderized
I saw him in an early episode of X Files and he actually had range, I miss that jack black

Why are we still punishing Cuba
We failed to overthrow their government like 60 years ago and I never understood why we continued fucking them.
Agreed, if you have the means the real game boy (or another clone) is best
But for simple games like Pokémon, Advance War, and Kirby I’ve been able to make do
And it’s free.99 on something I always have on me so that wins out for me
Delta is a great emulator on the phone, if you’re jonesing for some portable nostalgia
It’s been really fun replaying GBA games
Stop saying dab!
That reminds me of this scene in venture bros

I don’t know man, if I ever get a terminal illness I always thought ODing on heroin would be the way to go
Try all the drugs, literally can’t go tits up if you time it right
That’s a super sick project! I think my favorite part about emulation is how accessible it’s become because of projects like that
They still have that prehensile tail right? I think if the little arms couldn’t latch on, the tail could still wrap around the neck.
Someone in a fancy fur suit would probably be safe though
Emulation on older consoles is pretty sweet, I’m getting my fix that way

That is not obvious to me from such a generic use of the word “you”. It never crossed my mind, considering only Lemmy users are reading that comment.
I don’t know where you’re pulling that from, as nothing I wrote could be construed as such from my own rereading.

Anyone who’s played it have any input if that’s accurate?
It looked really fun but I didn’t want to buy it with my existing game-debt
