In central Luzon here, the power was first knocked out as winds and rain accelerated, but it wasn't that strong since I was at a low risk area. Anyways, sporadic rain continued and occasional strong winds blow.

hmm i do hope that the other more.. organized people keep up the attention and rhetoric but yeah what you said can still happen

Raising.. awareness? As an activist?

I mean, try fighting for your beliefs, y'know.

Besides, this only happens because of that Gaza genocide.

it's definitely generalized, but I'd say I fit the disruptive open source type, though i respect the trad open source guys a lot.. But, like.. as of currently, I can't even call myself an actual programmer seeing as I write stories instead of code nowadays..

Definitely would like to balance the two someday.

Ooh, Green Day.

Yeahhh.. I'd say if you don't like his vocal style then all of the songs are going to be ehhh, I personally enjoy a few albums right now, since I'm a rock (generally mainstream stuff, grunge, nu-metal, some punk) enjoyer and can listen through it...

Though, I'm curious, what songs specifically did you hear it from?

Nirvana Slander?! Not on my watch!

Haha, jokes aside, I do know a lotta reasons why people would not like Nirvana, either lyrics for some, the 'loud noises' effect in some, and generally probably overplayed songs like SLTS or HSB

I, personally love everything (like, I'm into some Montage of Heck Deep Cuts type of fan, the exclusive live songs listener fan) they did, but hey I was almost surprised that Nirvana was mentioned anyway.

That's why the Sep. 21 protests are happening btw.

They will keep lying until the Filipino people protest, which is indicative of how they think they're safe in their corruption.

What about the adaptations?? There's the theater, the animated one, and even a novelized one! Go go, expand your franchise!

I don't know much about Italy, but the Years of Lead and the collapse of the Communist Party there (at least, in name) probably contributed to a weakened left and a strengthened right, but IDK. I just read some stuff about it, maybe I'm wrong.

we need more of these people more or less, even though yes, they're dumb, that's like.. most of the population when it comes to the internet (like, only the young people even know of reddit here, much less use it..) and then there's the specific niches that are barely living in lemmy.. ah, end users..

I am not dead! I simply hibernated! But for real, I am checking out the lemmy here and as.. expected, deserted. But, hey, it's fine, surely we'll have our resurgence in 20XX!!??

BTW, this only happens (usually!!) if you install from the web, which.. like, if you don't have the tech literacy to figure out what's fake or not (especially banking?? Any reasonable bank HAS an app in official platforms, like the play store) then you don't need and shouldn't sideload, BUT the option is there for people like me, who use F-Droid and other FOSS-related apps.

The only downside is that unless people literally ignore warnings from the system for downloading apps (maybe first time stuff, then either the warning design sucks, or again, user error) then maybe just maybe they should read, if it's not official play store.
