There are lots of people out there that use sync, have always been unhappy with certain things and want certain things and aren't happy to pay for the app - in the reddit days at least. I'm sure they will be here for the lemmy app too. It's those people I took the comment to be directed at.

The first one is towards the very last days of the free Reddit API calls so the mass exodus began, the second is probably around the time all the apps were getting finalized for their beta versions of Lemmy - like sync.

He was definitely talking about people using the app and complaining that they can't have it all for free. You're not one of those people.

The other choice is free though. You don't have to pay.
