I've noticed that there are two distinct mindsets in people who have been hurt in one way or another.
The first is "I had it bad, so I don't want others to experience the same."
The second is "I had it bad, so why would anyone else have it better?"
I think they genuinely feel cheated when someone else gets something they never got. And they take it out on the people who did get that thing instead of holding the people accountable who denied them that thing. Even if they didn't deserve to get hurt, that is a shitty outlook to have on life and it's not going to do anyone any good.
Yeah, considering the Netherlands is known far and wide as the stingiest country in Europe, maybe even the world, I'm gonna go out on a limb and say this is probably mostly tourists.
If I ever get hassled for a tip anywhere in Europe you can be damn sure I'm not going to give one out of principle.
I absolutely want people to get fair wages, and I'm going to do it by voting for a livable minimum wage and not by encouraging this nonsense.
I've been trying this since I had an encounter with one a few years back and noticed how frickin cute they actually are. They have this very interesting way of moving, like a robot, plus they have baby animal proportions making them appear cute. And if you observe them for a bit you'll notice them observing you right back. You can almost see the gears turning in their little heads.
I still have a pretty severe case of arachnophobia but it has gotten heaps better with just watching these cute little spider puppies from a safe distance.

The fact that they do this and actually banned r/Lemmy shows that they perceive Lemmy as a viable threat.
No, I'M banned on Tesseract and so is my wife!
They also love sneakily doing things behind your back and saying they only did it for your own good when they get found out.
They actually love doing a lot of things this guy is doing.
Okay but I'm confused though. How are we all still posting here now that the main character has left the fediverse?
iT's FoR YoUr oWN GoOd!!!!1!!!!!!!
It's not about whether or not it fits someone's personal experience. It's about not normalizing or even romanticizing harmful behaviours.
You're not wrong. And he should have been in prison long before he even had a chance to become a war criminal.
That's obviously not going to stop him, lol.
Create a problem in the stupidest way possible. Blame everyone but yourself.
The MAGA playbook.
That corn isn't dead, it's just resting.
It's crazy but in current day USA people will go "Oh yeah, that's just something that happens sometimes."

Weeeellll hello there!
Give it a few more months.
They might intensify their efforts a little faster than they would have otherwise, but I guarantee you they will intensify their efforts either way.
I was gonna comment "hey look someone drew my mom!" so yeah.

What do you mean, no consequences? They'll get SLAMMED for sure!
The same thing with how a "New and Improved" product is never improved for the benefit of us. It's improving their bottom line.
