I think the bigger problem we are facing is corporate landlords, limiting personal and corporate ability to own more than a few properties would solve more issues.
Do it! Lots of it is stuff you'd do naturally for someone hurt but having the knowledge and confidence can truly make the difference for the person you help. It's pretty easy to find courses near you, check community colleges and local extension/parks & rec offices if you're in a rural area.
