Well... The person somewhere above calculated that if it was solid gold it would be about 1km x 1km... However now I just looked it up on Wikipedia, and it seems that Psyche 16 is roughly 223 km in diameter... So first of all it's clearly not solid gold... But the dinosaurs were wiped out by a meteor, and we think the meteor that caused the extinction of all the dinosaurs is the Chicxulub crater, a little off the coast from Mexico. That meteor is estimated to have been around 10km in diameter... So if we crashed Psyche 16 into earth, it would certainly be a "life on earth"-ending event.

To be honest I don't know (also not OP) but if the gold is one solid chunk there might be chance that it will function as a large enough heatsink that it wont "burn"... But then again it's probably not just one chunk... So some of the outer layers might "burn" as you say, but the gold atoms are not lost. That would require a nuclear reaction... Instead some of that gold would turn into liquid, and some would turn into gas. In this state it might reach with other elements in the atmosphere, but if it doesn't it will turn back into solid form again when it cools. In that case the result would be microscopic gold clumps spread over a huge area.

You can block channels for a child.

First you will need to set up their account as a child account, and your own account as a parent account using the Family system in Google.

On mobile: Using your PARENT account, go to the channel you want to block for your child. Then press the "3-dot" menu in the top right corner, then select "Block channel for kids", and finally select which child accounts to block it for.

On desktop: Using your PARENT account, go to the channel you want to block. Click the channel description. Scroll to the bottom. Click "Report user". In the menu that pops up select "Block channel for children", and then select which whildren to block the channel for.

18-30 GB is completely valid... If you have 4 sockets in your computer, nothing is stopping you from adding 2x4 GB sticks and 2x8 GB sticks for a total of 24 GB. And you can even still run at full dual channel speeds...

It's not that common, as most people don't mix the sizes of the sticks... But as long as each dual channel pair is of the same size, and the slowest stick timing is good enough, there's no trouble.

Most phones are full disk encrypted. So they don't need to zero out the whole disk... They just need to zero out the part of the disk that stores the encryption key. Once the encryption key is erased, the rest of the disk is essentially random noise.

I had an older computer where the CPU died, and it exhibited exactly these symptoms.

See if you can find someone with a compatible system, and try to swap some parts back and forth to rule out which are the broken ones. If you can find another DDR4 system and put your RAM sticks in, then you'll know whether your RAM is actually broken or not.

Sometimes a BIOS reset can also help when the system can't POST.

What does that have to do with whether Russia or Ukraine is nazis? Weapons aid or no weapons aid shouldn't change whether someone is a nazi.

The debate here was about whether or not Ukraine are nazis, and your only proof seems to be that a US Neo-nazi supports them... Which is a rather flimsy argument...

I don't think Ukraine is nazis. Their president is Jewish, and they haven't been invading any of their neighbors...

Russia on the other hand is certainly behaving much like Nazi Germany did in World War 2, so I'm fine with sending Ukraine as much aid as possible.

Very much this. My daughter was bottle fed, and almost like clockwork she would get hungry every 3 hours, at 12, 3, 6 and 9. My wife would feed and go to bed at midnight, and then I would stay up until 3 and feed there, then straight to bed. Then at 6 my wife would wake up and feed, and then finally at 9 in the morning I would wake up. Getting those 6 hours uninterrupted was invaluable.

Understandable. RAID1 can be a significant reduction of available space, but it of course depends a lot on which combination of disks you are using. In my case the difference is fairly minor. With RAID6 I would have 26 TB usable, and with RAID1 I have 23 TB usable... So to me the safety is worth the lost storage... But that if course depends entirely in which disks you have.

Here's my setup: https://www.carfax.org.uk/btrfs-usage/?c=2&slo=1&shi=1&p=0&dg=1&d=8000&d=6000&d=3000&d=3000&d=12000&d=8000&d=6000

Ah, it's probably a result of running RAID6 then. All the parity RAID modes in BTRFS still has some issues, such as suffering from the "write hole" issue. This can result in data loss when the filesystem isn't unmounted cleanly, such as a crash or power loss.

RAID5 and RAID6 are still not recommended for production use.

There's both a short and long variant of the VW id.buzz

Since you want a van, how small do you want it?

For that kind of range and size I find the price kind of reasonable... Remember to factor in your savings on electricity vs gas

What kind of range and price were you expecting?

I would agree that the front is kind of ugly... But I see the reference to old VW vans, so I kind of undestand:
