War already is a subscription.

People hating on subscriptions without understanding why subscribtions exist and make sense grinds my gears.

War machinery requires maintenance, munitions exercise and regular training. Also updates and modernizations. Each of these is an ongoing cost of ownership.

Subscriptions are only bad if there is no ongoing value being provided or your are being price gouged.

Pricing by substation is among the most modern. This wasn't easy to do 60 years ago. But it is now. Having region based prices (e.g. north west south east would also be better than the status quo)

Dynamic pricing per house is nonsense. And you should be well aware of that. Why even suggest it?

I mean, You could also just build more fossil fueled power plants and rely on those. Than we could keep the pricing model as fossil fuels are competitively easy to move.

The price of electric power is due to the pricing zone being all of Germany. Patching up a fundamentally broken system (in the age of renewables) will only ever yield subpar results when changing to a modern pricing structure is somewhat easy and done in many other parts of the world.

Of course it is unsustainable, that's part of the point. But it shows how progress in computing where a lot of society's brain has went does continue to impress. Graphics cards have gotten to a point whe D2C is viable and the self reinforcing feedback loop is at play and innovations and ideas how to get more, cheaper compute are tangible.

Yes. Go do your history homework. This is superficial anti Americanism. We do well founded anti Americanism only.
