I'm intrigued by what the commotion for DMSO was. As a researcher for pharmaceutical science, DMSO was just "the thing that dissolved everything" to me. Which I guess is pretty remarkable. I'm just curious what was written about it in the same publication where Asimov predicted hovercars and automated kitchens.
I have not yet encountered a Canadian who says "zi" the way I do. I've worked at schools here with ages from 12 to 22 and all of the students have said "zed" as well as every teacher and co-workers I've had.
I'm surprised that after a master's degree and a year now of working in a teaching lab that I haven't seen an example of all of these. But a new term starts in September and I'm holding out hope!
I don't really understand how you square running a blog about environmental conscientiousness with using AI slop but, ok. Your point about plastic stickers still stands fine. I'm just a little confused.
I had an experiment to test a hypothesis that our target molecule was causing maturation in cancerous blast cells. Long story short I was in charge of culturing a few dozen different testing conditions, commandeered an entire incubator for a month, spent 4 hours in the morning and 4 in the afternoon changing the media, and it all proved that; no, the hypothesis wasn't correct.
And my God had I wished I didn't need to wait for trypsin.
I had to get blue tooth headphones for sleep to make sure my tinnitus was taken care of and my husband didn't get kept awake by whatever noise I need. If your particular situation is anything like mine.
I work in a teaching lab and we use candle lighter versions of these for students to light their Bunsen burners. They're pretty reliable for that purpose. Way better than the flint and steel strikers that my previous position used.
“The tooth is a really ideal structure for holding a focusing element in place,” Moloney said. “It’s hard, it’s rigid, it survives in poor environments, and the body accepts it because it’s part of its own.” From this article.
Might want to see a doctor about that.

If neither affects visibility of posts or results in any actionable difference, why care at all?

It's apparently $3 adjusted for inflation.
I've been using Floorp for a couple of months now. It's been fine. It's another Firefox fork. And IronFox on my phone.
