All of the good and bad guys were the embodiment of some spiritual ideal like courage or wisdom or whatever. The 5 heroes embodied the purer ideals, and the villains embodied the more corruptible ones. By the end they'd all be on the same side fighting darkness or whatever.
Loyalty was one of the corruptible ideals.
It always cracked me up that it was also the VERY FIRST ONE TO CHANGE SIDES 😂

The one on which I slapped a banner image of Yoko from TTGL (big boobs, big gun) immediately started picking up thousands of followers a week with no posting at all.
Boss's content was all about food. Started seeing a pattern.
This one gets me through hard days.
