@kadu It's not pointless at all. Really it's a warning to whoever wants to start a community. If you do something reddit doesn't like, be prepared to lose what you built, even if following the rules
Effectively, there is no benefit. But if you are looking for really niche stuff you can't find on public trackers, you might have success on a private one with a focused category of torrents
@ivy Rust is just such an ugly looking language to me. I tried to learn it, but just never liked how I had to write code. Pretty superficial reason to drop it, but it just never jelled with me, so meh
@hyde too an extent yes, but once again, if you give root access to malware because you don't know any better, well you're kind of just as screwed. If linux is to become more mainstream and be a daily driver of the average user, this could be a common scenario
@hyde running sketchy files on linux can be just as dangerous as windows. Linux's strength comes from it's trusted ecosystem of repositories and mainly open source programs which are easily auditable.

Dr. Stone is science? Honestly, I tried it because I thought it was going to be sciency and then it wasn't and honestly quite boring. I dropped it quickly.
I actually thought halo 4 was decent, at least for the first entry for someone taking over. But it just got worse. I really despised halo infinites campaign, it just felt so incredibly lazy.
To me half life 2 and alyx feel more like tech demos then actual well rounded great games. They obviously aren't bad, but over rated for what they are.

Can't say I have ever needed the water resistance, but I also never drop my phone, so I guess I'm in the minority.
