On the one hand, I get it. The fact of the matter is Trump has a substantial part of the population at his beck and call and the MAGA Republicans will cover for Trump with accusations of political persecution.
On the other hand, they better get to it so he's on trial before the general election.
It's only a matter of time, and tbh, the downvote is seldom used correctly anyway (not for showing disagreement, for example). Some subs already hide the downvote button, but you can still downvote using shortcut keys (Z), at least on old.reddit using RES.
Wonder how many mods of big subs are drawing plans for a massive migration. I know some big ones established discords but it's not a reddit alternative.

It is. Going to the discord of a popular sub I realized that the protest is something that only a vocal minority is willing to take to its end, whatever that is. Most people either don't care or are too preoccupied that they can't kill time on reddit anymore. There's people who are advocating for removing mods just because the sub was closed, completely ignoring the fact that if it weren't for the mods the community wouldn't exist in its current state, the same mods who are the most impacted by the killing of 3rd party apps. I find it insane that people can be so self-absorbed and short-sighted, but that's just how most people are.
I would say it's surprising but r/technology has been apathetic to the blackout, and that's being generous. At the same time, it shouldn't be surprising considering its top mod is a reddit admin.
I don't even think it's an original idea, I'm sure there's mods in brand subs (video games, for example) who are employees for the company which owns the product. He's just making it official and I bet he's gonna ask for a pretty penny for it.

There have been rumors since the tail-end of the offseason that Merc had a late change in design direction during the winter. Add to that the fact they were saying since the W14's reveal that there was already an upgrade coming down the line that would change the sidepods, most likely coming by the beginning of the European leg (Imola). Putting all of this together, it could very well be that this iteration of the W14 is the car they'd have wanted to start the season with. If this is true, it could very well be that they didn't eat as much into the budget as Horner makes it seem.
Ofc, the reverse is also true and they could very little budget left already.
Hope you find it in yourself to keep up. I'm of the opinion everyone should start working out, even if lightly before 40 and keep at it. I myself am trying to walk the talk over here, so wish me luck as well.

At some point it went private but it doesn't have some kind of message or reason as to why, unlike subs actively participating in the blackout. As it turns out, a reddit admin is currently top mod of r/technology and had been actively posting in an official reddit sub (could've been r/reddit) in defense of the API move during the end of last week. I think r/technology is a good sub to watch, just gonna leave it at that.
