I guess the AI's price memory was frozen at pre RAM crisis (or earlier), so it thinks the current (inflated) price is abnormal.

(BTW, I don't think police will take the case about the pricing, they would just tell you to find another store(s) with more reasonable price. :) )

There were some games that can be run on Steam Deck, but will not run on other Linux systems, I think they might be able to do similar stuff for the Machine.

IMO I think it is just limited the game's visibility, but ultimately it's up to the game devs. (Like tech support or "fairness" reasons)

EDIT: This list show games that only run on Steam Deck or SteamOS, but not other Linux systems https://www.gamingonlinux.com/anticheat/status/steamos/

It were possible but it's more on the developer side at that moment.

eSIM is really hard to change device in Taiwan due to government (NCC Department) "instructions" (that carrier sometimes misinterpreted it):

  • Can not transfer by yourself, you need to go to carrier to transfer.
  • 300 NTD (~10 USD) per move (can be waived under some cases)
  • Might deny if you move too often recently.
  • And now (actually start few days ago), you need to show proof of purchase (or gift) of the target device. Carrier can deny if you fail to do so, and they'll say they're following government instructions. NCC said it should not be applied to eSIM as it's one-time use only, but such rule already executed for few days and caused troubles for some people.

So physical SIM is more flexible here. (For now)

EDIT: NCC Department said the instructions are just suggestions, carrier should do KYC properly, but how all major ones do the same annoying stuff is beyond me...

EDIT 2: NCC Department clarified the new KYC instructions. (Chinese) 媒體揭露KYC指引相關報導恐有誤解,NCC今日邀集三大電信業者溝通說明,持續滾動因應實務情形

Latency issue, in some use cases it's not acceptable to have 0.1~0.3 sec lag, like racing games or rhythm games.

(Yeah, I know there are some wireless protocols to make latency shorter, but it might cost a lot to buy a supported headphone, and it's still useless if the phone doesn't have proper protocol supports.)

For push-notification login, there is really no other choice beside the proprietary one.

But they do also provide universal TOTP for 2FA login, it does work with other apps too. (unless your org had set special 2FA rules) The alternative option is not so obvious on initial onboarding IIRC, though.
