29 isn't that late tbh. I know plenty that started later and have had great results.

Regarding the upkeep situation, once a day is probably not necessary. 2 or 3 a week will keep you situated, though you'll know if you need more. It becomes painful to have an erection if you don't keep up, as the skin loses elasticity.

Hrt can and will change your libido, especially early days, which you're in. I had to keep a log of when I would use it so I wouldn't lose it and compared to T dominance I was just never in the mood for it. That changed after a while and adding progesterone, though it was/is still different and less. If you are interested in bottom surgery it's still prudent to keep on top of maintaining the muscle, especially if you get the penile inversion vaginoplasty, as it'll get you better results and likely an easier time healing.

Like another person said, you might have more dysphoria than you realized, and lessening the other issues might allow more space for other dysphoria to become more obvious. That is what the case was for me and my bottom dysphoria.

Regarding vers/top/whatever and your dating prospects, you can be vers or a top and not use your natal junk or your junk at all. And, in my opinion, I wouldnt make decisions on your body and how you like to use it based on what other people would find appealing/useful.

You have it backwards. Israel is America's foreign policy. Our government wants them to be the big swinging dick in the middle east because it furthers the economic interests of capital. Corporate dems know that genocide looks bad but they fundamentally want to keep our rabid attack dog armed and dangerous.

I know you're worried about your friend, but her medical situation is not your business unless she specifically asked you for your help.

With eddies it's all about finding ones that are consistent. A lot of the common cheap ones are hit and miss but I've found a few brands that are regularly the same strength throughout the whole batch. So it's easier to plan about when you'll start to feel it and when to expect it to wear off.

Yeah, definitely normal. I played with a lot of traditionally femme things at the start of my transition, cause I didn't know what I liked and had been denied the exploration my cis peers had in adolescence. I don't wear makeup much anymore for the same reasons. Things can be affirming at first and then you grow out of them and it doesn't have to mean anything, other than you're growing. Same thing with bras; they used to be real affirming to wear, and the sensory feeling of having something on my chest was a relief. But I'm 7 years in and a bra is something I take off immediately when I get home because it's annoying.

Look around at the habits of women in their 30s and 40s and you'll see a lot of us have let go of many of the femme high effort stuff fall away. Some of it is still fun on occasion but the daily effort is just not worth it

I have only heard bad things about Dr Schechter when I was doing my research for my GRS years ago, as that was the closest doc to where I lived. I'd heard that his results were not great, and that he was very disrespectful, especially when his patients needed revision due to shoddy work. Those reviews are why I ended up going out of state for mine. I don't know anything about the other doc. Good luck.

That's a common refrain from fascists and it's not actually historically accurate. Not a great thing to parrot imo

TOS is very dated and can be hard to watch at times. You definitely have to be appreciative of the camp and low production.

TNG holds up a bit better. It's not an adventure show though, and the first season has some real stinkers. I'd say it's a good starting point to watch the first 3 or 4 episodes then go to season 2 weeks give that a shot. If you like how it's going then go back and finish S1 and keep going.

DS9 is like tng but also has a bit more edge and does some good deconstruction of the pure optimism of tng. It is still optimistic but also has some cynicism I love it. I don't think I'd like it as much without a good tng backbone though.

Overall 90s trek isn't going to really give you a lot of adventure focus, unless you watch the movies. It's strengths lie in the morality play and the collaborative problem solving, and the idea of a bright future. Picard kind of shits all over that idea of a brighter future but to each their own, I can see why some people would like it.

I mean if you only enter wanted to write because it would get you writers clout then sure. You can still write to engage in the creative process and make something actually meaningful
