I get the desire for a centralized location but I was hoping Lemmy would be the spot. I'm still hopeful the Quentin Tarantino Trek happens, mostly for his directing/writing but I guess it relates to the question since he usually acts in a some part in his films. What happened with this anyway?
I run my Jellyfin on an HP sff PC and keep all my files are my big NAS. This lets me take advantage of Intel's Quicksync for my transcoding which seems to be the easiest and best way to transcode. Also much more power efficient than running a standalone GPU.
