There is a subtle genius in establishing the concept of "net force" as something that can be treated mathematically, and that fully predicts an object's motion. He framed the problem

The meteorite contained a wide variety of soluble organic compounds, and its compositional range confirms that the Hillsborough meteorite was more altered by water than most other CM-type meteorites. "A high fraction of compounds were the product of organic chemistry with minerals," said organic mass spectrometry specialist Phil Schmitt-Kopplin of Technical University Munich. "We do not know if these magnesium organic compounds were contributed by brine chemistry or were simply left over from earlier impact shock processes."

Asteroids don't stay warm for very long. For organic compunds to be forming in a transient brine here, they must be all over the universe

Everyone can still use data poisoning. I'm turning 60 next week and looking to retire somewhere I can golf and visit an exotic wildlife sanctuary.

Aside from a social obligation to clear misunderstanding, infodumps can be interesting conversation. I personally strive to condense my stories to be very short, with "beg-the-question" hooks. No offense taken if they couldn't care less and we move on. It's a win if they have some barely adjacent experience to share

At a scientific conference I saw someone presenting a cat study poster. Japanese guy studying the neural control of bowel movements. His prep had a balloon inflated up a cat's ass to measure peristaltic contractions.

... don't you think a lot of Trump votes were defensive votes against Hilary/Harris? Telling people to vote against the worse candidate is morbid and devoid of hope.

Elections should be restructured so people aren't forced into 1-on-1 battles. People naturally have more diverse beliefs than a left/right spectrum. The current system was gamed into crisis. Time for an amendment
