I just got banned from r/askbrits for responding to someone saying they didn't see why Israel or Palestine was relevant to British politics, and I commented that Britain helped create Israel. I was instantly banned
It's not ancient but blackcurrant syrup aka ribena was originally developed for this purpose when other fruit supplies were running low in Britain during the war
I didn't think I could but interestingly enough discovered a technique that works earlier today. Basically get really close whilst staring at a point then gradually move away. It actually is an amazing effect
I've been on the high speed line from Shanghai, it's fantastic. Covered 700km in around 2 hours with beautiful views of the landscape. The ride was comfortable and relaxing.
I've also been on the Shanghai Maglev, which I believe at the time and maybe still is the fastest passenger train in the world. It was pretty amazing flying over the motorway. It goes between Pudong airport and Shanghai city centre in about 10 minutes. I felt slightly nauseous during the acceleration.
So ridiculous. I didn't think I was saying anything controversial at all.

I agree, he can be eye catching and does have good moments, but he can be very loose in possession
We invaded Jerusalem in 1917 on behalf of lord Rothschild and continue to protect his colony
Should Israel be allowed to compete?
It's despicable how they've tried to shut down criticism of Israel's mass murder by dishing out permabans
Lots of people seem to be reporting permabans for comments involving Israel
Luckily I can buy a perfectly decent mouse that lasts forever for £5
Is it incredibly easy to charge people with felonies?
