I tried playing on ps5 for 30 minutes yesterday. I wouldn't recommend a controller personally (unless that's your thing). Just with everything from passive skull tree to mapping gems to skill slots, pressing those damned health vials with the D pad...
For console, and I don't actually like this game much on PC...try Warhammer chaosbane. It's way more simplistic, has a very dumbed down passive tree, but works great when playing on console.
