"I like to eat meat."

"High five, bro. Me too."

"... so I can kill all the starving blacks and Hispanics."

"What in the ever-loving fuck is wrong with you? I'm suddenly hungry for salad."

That doesn't even make logical sense. A person taking in a balanced diet is going to be way healthier. Even if I couldn't fucking wait for an excuse to kill people, I wouldn't want the guy I'm counting on to drag my wounded ass back to a medic to have a fucking coronary and collapse next to me.

You'll never completely be rid of it because humans are wired to be tribal and we find tribes based on what sports team we root for or what college we went to or what clothes we wear... or the color of our skin or the kinds of foods we like or who we are attracted to.

I have an intense dislike of anyone who voted for this mess, and I don't really have the energy to invest to hate anyone, but the closest I come is every last member of the Trump clan (not the niece or whatever, just the people in his inner circle).

Hate and fear and ignorance are always going to be part of humanity.

I think SRP is separate from LoC (lines of concern). You can have a function that does a single thing, but if it's invoked across two LoC you'll eventually have a bad time. LoC is the counter example to DRY.

Anyway, I'm sure the write up is fine. I think all of this is just to get people thinking about these things. If you have all of these acronyms in your head as you plan you're less likely to have a mess on your hands 2 years down the road, and none of them will save you on its own.

That's been the modern world for the last 40 years. Durability is nothing compared to next-quarter profits, because if something starts to shit the bed you just move your money to something that hasn't been ruined yet, and then make even more money ruining it.

When I opened this, I thought they were upset about him filming their illegal actions. But no, they must reluctantly investigate this poor white guy who is just trying to advocate for the "white race," whatever the fuck that is. I expect the world to be bad, but the reality is always somehow worse than I expect.

Reality is a dark, deadpan comedy. We simply lack the outside perspective to see it as such.

Trump has done so much bad shit, each more unbelievable and outrageous than the last. Journalism has failed us because half of the country doesn't watch the news to be informed — they watch it for permission and validation.

I'm glad it's reported, and I'm kinda glad to know the scope of Trump's banal evil to the degree we do, but this will change nothing. Half the country hears cops covered up a murder and imagines Punisher taking out the baddies who hide behind corruption and legal technicalities — oh the fucking irony!

Also, MAGA is just all in on Trump. They have followed him so far that they need Fox to give them reasons not to examine their own choices. Fuck them. At least based on the average age of Fox viewership, most is them are already on death's door. The end of that generation can't come soon enough.

... of course once the boomers are gone I suppose I'm on the chopping block next. Already heard some zoomers lumping Gen X with boomers. I hope they are wrong. Yes, "woke" stole all our favorite homophobic slurs, but I think we're better for it and have no desire to go back.

The webslinging was amazing. The camera work, to the way he pumps his arm at the end of a swing for more height.

And I loved seeing Yelena show up. And the relationship of Frank and Peter. And the way MJ convinced Frank to help Peter. And the way they used May.

Honestly, the character writing for this was just outstanding. The people and relationships all felt very real, and you could see the impact of what they've been through.

I use my slop apps every day at work. My boss was pretty impressed when I was sharing my screen and I told AI to invoke a bunch of utilities I had built and pull together a report based on the output and set that to work while we did other things. It does a pretty good job for slop. It keeps trying to infer things and provide bad analysis based on bad inferences, but the data it pulls and the spreadsheets it builds are pretty solid.

Viva la slop.
