While I agree, corporations shouldn't make bucks on knowledge(sorta) they basically eavesdropped and violated the privacy of millions of people for.

AI solutions are made from people's ideas, and should be freely accessible by the people by definition. It not being sustainable as a business model is also a feature in this case, since there'd be no intrinsic incentive to steal data and violate privacy.

If we account to impacts on wildlife as well, there's displacement of species, stressors to local fauna, and the innumerable roadkills as well

Lemmy is advancing so much and so fast even Spez has competition rising up to the challenge.

I don't have any issues about lemmy.world existing though, it keeps some users I wouldn't like very much farther away from me. I consider it as a "buffer zone" of sorts.

Unfortunately:

  1. half of zero is still zero, and
  2. since one can't go below 0HP there's no HP pool to take health from.

As someone who had to DM more than I'd like, no dice, mate.
