I’ve had similar challenges doing the same.

Two of the recommendations below helped a lot: 0 the z gap for supports and switch away from organic to get more surface contact.

I still had some challenges even after these changes helped a lot - just enough pla in the nozzle mixed with Petg left the resulting model very fragile, so for anyone using an MMU you may consider increasing the amount of Petg extruded between filament changes.

Good luck, and enjoy the challenge!

It’s always nice to find a Mexican restaurant that makes a serious house habanero salsa, and every once in a while they’re amazing! I went to one restaurant for about a decade when I found their amazing salsa, but at some point they couldn’t import their chef’s preferred peppers anymore and stoped making it.

I’ve had a much easier time finding Indian that can bring the spice - I assume their spice collection is broader than most, but I love when I can find a seriously spicy Thai dish.

“Is there a non-white people extra spicy?” I’ve had to convince waiters at many restaurants that I really mean it. Recent experience - I had the chef come out and double check with me at a new Indian restaurant and I confirmed extra spicy - and he was right, it was pretty tongue melting. Now I usually order spicy unless I’m really in the mood. Sometimes (sadly rare) they mean it!

This feels a bit like the oxygen masks in an airplane. Take care of your own basic needs first and then focus on others around you. Who is going to take care of me when I’m no longer earning if I gave all my money away to the more needy when I was earning? Or should I just die?

Ok, so you don’t know ny state law at all. Cool!

Edit: for anyone else who doesn’t know ny state law and didn’t want to read the article to read how she violated it: “Judges are authorized, but not obligated, to perform marriages. Judges who choose to perform marriages may not unlawfully discriminate when deciding which couples they will marry.” As she married a hetero couple right before them and then walked out in the middle of her shift when it was this couple’s turn, there’s going to need to be clearly documented extenuating circumstances for this to have been anything but a violation of her duty.

Per the NY bar, “you can get married by signing a written contract of marriage witnessed by two or more people. The contract must be acknowledged in front of a New York judge by the parties and witnesses.” Doesn’t sound like much more than acknowledging the process and signing the form by the judge. Is that art?

If you’re not willing to do part of a job (officiating at all NY-legal marriages) then don’t take the job. Or quit when you realize you won’t do the job.
