I second this, if it’s only you that needs access then Tailscale will be all that you need. You can use Tailscale funnel if you want it to be available to the wider web, but then you have to manage SSL certificates and it is slightly less secure.
I would caution against port forwarding and leaving your server open to the wider web.
Might not be exactly what you want but I sometimes use mosh for this reason, I can start a task in the mosh terminal and then minimize or sleep, or even hibernate the machine and I will be able to come back to the same session later. (It also continues running if the connection is lost, and will reconnect when able)
We definitely need to have sovereignty over our resources. It’s time to nationalize our oil exports and start refining here at home. Reliance on trading has put us at a stark disadvantage. Our country could be so much more prosperous, instead we’re exporting profits along with the resources.
I believe technically you can. But they will make it as inconvenient as possible. As someone who travels for work, I’ve accepted it as a necessary evil.
I have experience with Runelite in a third party Jagex launcher project I worked on recently. I have learned that Runelite has a small launcher program that forks and launches another Java process that is running an embedded jar file. The problem is, steam only sees the first “launcher” and not the forked Java process. So once the you launch Runelite steam thinks you closed the game.
I would recommend finding the Runelite.jar file and launching that directly with Java ie. “java -jar Runelite.jar”.
Edit: I just checked, you can download the jar from the Runelite website (it’s at the bottom of the list)
He’s effecting the change he’s been talking about for years, so yeah he’s going to make a video about it. I don’t believe he’s getting anything financial from this product at all.
I don’t think he’s sold out. He’s reviewing products just as he always has, this is just the first one he had a small hand in the development of.

I agree, we have got to stop bending to his will. I’m tired of being subject to the USA’s policy in Canada.
Water’s boiling point and freezing point depends on the pressure of the local atmosphere unfortunately! But I like your logic.

There is an etiquette to not just copy and pasting from ChatGPT. The fact you couldn’t verify the code yourself is a bigger issue.
I understand you may have thought this may help, it really does not.
