Parts are absolutely fine. If you're a beginner I'd advised against Arch as it's high maintenance. If your hell bent on a Arch distro I'd recommend EndeavourOS as it's Arch with an installer and the base system will cover most use case without too much tinkering.
Define "a lot of AAA games" ? Because right now almost everything on Steam just works on Linux besides the odd multiplayer games, and even that is slowly getting support. Heck, I even installed the just out Lies of P demo the other day, worked first try, no glitch, very good performance, like a native game.

As much as I like Dany Boyle, this one I had a really hard time getting into: The depressed idiots, the "hey, that's the old ship we thought was lost, let's go on board to get that other bomb, and risk getting killed on that unstable wreck", the crazy dude on said ship cliché, I could go on and on...

I'm running Nobara KDE, almost any games I throw at it work with no tinkering. Just this afternoon I installed Lies of P demo from Steam, it worked OTT with zero glitch. I have a SSD with Win11 I haven't run in months lol.

It also achieved bleeding users into other services like Lemmy and kbin, which wouldn't have happen if literal idiots weren't running Reddit.
That's one annoying thing with kbin, the other being no quick access to subs list. I still like it better than Lemmy right now.

They're slow, I vastly prefer Flatpaks.
