As someone who until reading this was almost totally ignorant about the status quo in Mexico City (other than secondary school lessons in 90s on the 1985 earth quake) I am aghast at their situation. Those poor people.
Part of me wants to despair at this. I feel like our government is just totally inept and everything is just bad news. There was even a report in the Times this week that Russian hakers are going to take the NHS down - and given the Horizon scandal where its proven we've repeatedly gone with the lowest bidder, it wouldn't surprise me.
However, I like to think there is someone in charge of all this who properly has their shit together and is smirking at this thinking 'come and have a go if you think your hard enough'
I once did some training at a highly sensitive UK site (mandatory for the clearance I needed) and during the course we were told in no uncertain terms China was relentless in their spying and attack attempts. This was around 15 years ago.
It was supposed to be date night tonight (me cooking) but the missus is feeling poorly so it's postponed. There is a gathering at the pub tonight so I might sneak along, but we have an early start tomorrow as we're visiting my grandmother in North Wales....so might be better off flaking out on the sofa.
I'm still cooking. Fresh linguini, mussles, king prawns and squid to be washed down with a chilled Pouilly-Fumé. 👌
I was looking at this the other day. It would appear that the heater I have is not compatible which is frustrating. Hopefully more controllers / variants can be added.
My heater is currently being used to heat my conservatory as the van conversion is still on-going!
