A more complete transcript..

After years of enduring severe pain from a broken back, navigating the obstacles of the health insurance system and witnessing similar experiences of countless others, I learned that United Healthcare would be holding its annual investor conference in New York City on December 4, 2024, although the specific location was not publicly disclosed. I learned that United Healthcare would be holding its annual investor conference in New York City on December 4, 2024, although the specific location was not publicly disclosed. I then researched the event online. I observed that the annual conference of America's largest health care organization with the stated mission to make health --excuse me -- with the stated mission to make the health system work better for everyone, would be attended by company executives, the board of directors, and hundreds of investors, not doctors, nurses, and patients. In November of 2024, I traveled from outside of New York State to Manhattan. I then emailed United Healthcare leadership posing as an investor at a firm managing over $50 billion in assets and requesting information about the conference. Unlike my previous interactions with insurers, I received an immediate response within an hour. Before traveling to New York, I used a 3-D printer to make part of a gun, and I equipped the gun with the silencer and magazine. My travel to New York and email to United Healthcare was with the intent to shoot Brian Thompson. On the morning of December 4, 2024, I shot Mr. Thompson in Manhattan and he died. When I did so, I understood that my actions would place him in fear of death or serious bodily injury. I knew what I was doing was illegal.

"Unlike my previous interactions with insurers, I received an immediate response within an hour. " is quite a gem

Ongo Gablogian knows you don't need a laugh track to make the viewer laugh.

I've been keeping my phone on silent for years and only allowing specific favorite contacts through. It's been absolutely liberating. No notifications demanding my attention. I'll interact with my phone on MY terms.

It's too bad their models are also all garbage, or I'd be on that Google AI train. They're desperately trying to stay relevant in a space they should be owning in the first place. You plant shit seeds, you get shit weeds. Even if the models were good, their track record shows it's not worth the time investment adopting their stack because chances are it ends up in the infamous graveyard within 3-5 years.

Yup, same. x57 for GPT 5.5 now?! The GitHub agent architecture was hot as hell and allowed me to work on projects without ever bootstrapping it locally, but there is no way I'm gonna get sucked into spending hundreds a month. It felt good seeing that $250 refund come through for my yearly plan. I'll take those funds to Claude or Codex directly. Throttled usage is way better than being fucked over by a glorified reseller.

You'll get down voted to eternity for speaking truth like that friend. Be cautious, a lot of these kids just don't want to hear it.

And yeah, Google is trying so hard but failing miserably. I'm excited to try Opus 4.8 with my work account 🙈

The midterms are coming, and I hope to God my fellow citizens use it to send a message that a reckoning is coming in the primary too. But I suspect the spineless Trump supports will start thinking a 3rd term is justified given how the previous election was 'stolen' from him and they'll accept whatever twisted logic Republicans use to erase that bit from the Constitution. Or hell, at this point they'll keep it in there and just ignore it because they don't give a damn anyway.

We're trying folks. Bare with us as we trudge through this hellish time in American politics.

You're absolutely right, and the vast majority of people on this platform seem to get offended by anything AI related. Software engineers have been reviewing code made by other people since the dawn of the craft. Guess what y'all, AI generated code looks exactly the same, if not better on the first pass at creating a thing.

Down vote me all you want homies. You're living in a fantasy if you think all AI is slop. Sure, I can see how it's ruining some content on the Internet, but for code related tasks, its going to dramatically change the world for the better.
