I've been using the following filters in ublockorigin to remove reddit search results from duckduckgo. Note that "wLL07_0Xnd1QZpzpfR4W" is a class name that may change in the future but should be easy enough to reinspect and swap out.

lemmy.world did update today and I was able to finally login to Liftoff. It did take about 5-10 minutes to fully login and load content though.

NP. I've also installed the second attempt version and see the same behavior. It is consistently 7-8 seconds after I up vote or down vote any post or comment. I'll pull logs on my phone and submit to github tomorrow.

Interesting considering the other replies but I was able to install without any issues. Obviously there is still work to be done but I love the slide UI and it's great to have that with lemmy. I have observed an annoying issue with voting though. I can login and scroll and view comments and scroll some more but shortly after I up/down vote anything the app closed. I think it was the Thunder app that had a similar issue recently.

Trying to think of what might be different for us. I know that I created my account before lemmy.world required email verification and I still have not verified. Did you happen to create your lemmy.world account before email verification was required?

Yes, I'm able to log into the same lemmy.world account with both Jerboa and Thunder. I also have a beehaw account, and like V4uban, I am able to log into it using Liftoff.

I've lowered my password to 15 characters and even removed special characters but it still just spins when connecting to lemmy.world

This didn't work for me. I reduced my character length to 15 and even removed all special characters but I still couldn't login with my lemmy.world account, it just spins. If I put in an incorrect password it does tell me that its incorrect. It just doesn't ever accept the correct one.

Yeah, I was kind of hoping for a year off in rehab/AA but I also figured that this was the most likely outcome. Luckily no one was hurt and I hope Huggins can get the help he needs in regards to this.

I've been trying to do the same today. I think it's more likely that your instance is blocking access to kbin altogether or specific magazines. For example, I have both a beehaw.org and lemmy.world account. I can access https://beehaw.org/c/kbinmeta@kbin.social and can subscribe from that page but https://lemmy.world/c/kbinmeta@kbin.social returns a 404: couldnt_find_community error.

The reason I think it might be instance specific versus, say a bug in the server version, is because https://lemmy.ml/c/kbinmeta@kbin.social and https://beehaw.org/c/nsfw@kbin.social both work and but https://lemmy.ml/c/nsfw@kbin.social doesn't work. Presumably lemmy.ml is blocking the nsfw magazine.
