I've rarely had such suboptimal experiences with Google Maps. With that said, I've moved to Vela Maps, which is sort of like NewPipe for Google Maps; use it while logged out with local-only customization. It's gotten incredibly good over the past months! It's a bit worse than Google Maps in failing to account for temporary roadblocks, but other than that, it's incredibly well-done, despite almost certainly being an LLM product. (I'm not inherently against LLM products as long as they're privacy-respecting and efficient enough, such as, I suspect, Episteme Reader, and AI-originated-but-human-continued Stirling-PDF.)
I've seen combative devs less than half the time. Usually they've provided helpful context or genuinely took things into consideration. Actually, I like seeing dev comments because how the devs reply influence my view of, and likelihood of playing, the game.

Why are you saying "you" and not "we?" Are you somehow exempt from all this? I notice you're saying "their" and not "our." Why are you distancing yourself (even when you acknowledged "every living person")? This kind of divisiveness does not help sway people over. We need to work as teams, not opponents, to enact healthy societal change.
It has heart-clogging butter anyway. Air-pop your own at home and then slather olive oil, salt, and any spices you like over it! It's so much cheaper and better in every way.
I've never seen it get my home location incorrect... And the only wrong ways I've seen it involve are roadblocks.

I would say that that's more if those products are bought new. The moneyless Buy Nothing sub-economy/movement helps a lot.
