@mitexleo this is odd, if everything in in a bridge, then a physical port to your switch/router should be your uplink. Check for MTU mismatches, and CRC errors on the cabling.
@Underwire ahh, it's probably IP based with some geo location checking. Their login protocol is mostly likely an http(s) api, that can send browser information to the serve via the url, and if there's a dedicated "app", then it collects and send GPS / WiFi bssid /blutooth beacon location info.
@some_dude I would not run truenas as a VM on the proxmox cluster youre storing for. This should be a separate box, connected over NFS. If your proxmox fails, you rebuild the host and import the VMs stored on the truesnas share. If your true nas fails, you rebuild the boot drive and zpool import your zfs disks.
@CCMan1701A@Holomew this. As a network engineer, only roaming hosts(phones and laptops) should be connected by WiFi. Game consoles and streaming boxes or TVs should be hardwired especially if they are close to each other. And extenders just cause problems and noise.
@possiblylinux127@SailorsLife trying to explain the need for crossover cables to new people in the industry who where brown after auto-uplink existed everywhere is tough

@Underwire Plex probs? Try Jellyfin. You will need your own incoming VPN, but its all local
