If you like books enough you can't resist extra interests that catch your eye, even if not your first favourites. How can you create worlds unless you have knowledge of the only one you know? SFF writers I know love researching wide variety of non fiction around their subject to start world and character building. Read whatever gives you pleasure, but be warned, those TBR piles grow into mountains. 😉😊
