Gordon and Livramento have looked good so far but realistically Livramento will just be a bench player unless Tripps gets injured and it was a big portion of our budget to spend on backup, same goes for Barnes really, he isn’t getting in over Gordon.

I think he’s quite a good player but don’t see where he’ll fit in at Newcastle. Surely that money could be spent better elsewhere.
