Compression will almost always compromises on quality. You can often notice the artifacts on scenes with lot of moving particles and such. So if you can afford the extra storage then that would definitely be the better option. At what stage do you consider them good enough is a very personal choice and the difference in quality often diminishes a lot as you go up. If you are happy with smaller releases then that's perfectly fine too.

If you are noticing a big discrepancy between proton and windows across many games then there's something wrong with your setup. On average proton seems to out perform windows if all of those news articles are to be believed, at least it should be on par anyway. If you are actually serious about switching then try debugging or just try a different distro like cachy.

I don't thing a gps can help this guy. He's the type of dude who gets lost even when you are holding his hand.

Or the only one insane enough to crack multiple titles. I think there were 1 or 2 other groups who did but it seems to be a headache inducing time sinks which could prove pointless after many updates. Please do correct me if I am wrong on that as I am pretty out of touch.

I believe the comparison here is that the charging time for single cell can be lowered by adding another. In conventional parallel battery setup, they would remain the same or gets worsen when adding more. I am assuming you are thinking of a scenario where the number of cells remain same but the connection is changed from serial to parallel.

Either way it's pretty much pointless to compare quantum mechanics with chemical or macro things (not sure what to call these) as the basic rules and theories are completely different.

I would recommend 1337 instead. Has pretty much every category like TPB.

Anyone who are interested in robotics would care. A bipedal humanoid robot was not faster than the fastest human just an year ago. Now they are, saying this is useless is kinda like saying why are we inventing a car when horses run faster. Not all innovations are immediately useful, this is just to showcase (or advertise) the rapid improvement in robotics. Boston dynamics also did the same for their promotional videos and a lot of people liked it as you don't need to be knowledgeable on the field to understand the feats.

Whether this is a good thing to replace dangerous jobs or a cheaper alternative to wages is a different discussion but this news is certainly something worth publishing.
