There's a guy in my town that has a massive "THE EARTH IS FLAT" sticker on the back of his car. Every time I see him I keep hoping it's a troll, but I live in Missouri so it wouldn't surprise me if he actually believes it.
I've been enjoying staying away from fandoms. It's funny when I really get into a series/franchise then like several months later I'll watch a video from a YouTuber I like and they'll just casually throw out how the fanbase for that thing is ultra toxic/annoying and/or filled with the biggest creeps imaginable.
Vance definitely doesn't have anything to pull people to him. Like as much as I hate Trump, I at least see the dumb things he does his cult likes. Vance has none of that. It's like if Jeffries tried to replace Mamdani.
Well I can educate about as well as AI. Regurgitating info I found on a vaguely related Reddit thread as well as include incorrect info on something completely unrelated.
I'm not interested in going out of my way to try new food cause I just view eating as something I have to do to survive, not something I enjoy doing. My anxiety prevents me from outright refusing food from someone, but often if it's one of the many things I know I don't like I'll just say I'm full and deal with it. I most likely ate enough the rest of the day to survive till tomorrow anyway.
I struggle with this too. My therapist is trying to help me with some aspects of it, usually trying to use a past accomplishment and applying it to what I currently have massive anxiety about. Doesn't always work cause my brain treats that past accomplishment as a mistake or something I shouldn't have gotten.
They're a couple that just go crazy with what they expect from people that stay at their place. The clip that I first saw that I think made them go viral was them upset the guests left the TV remote in a different room (on the table next to where they keep their rulebook), moved a footstool, left the bed unmade, and left a few things of food in the fridge in containers. They do charge a hefty cleaning fee and have some crazy rules with steep fines like charging I think like $50 for every minute past their early checkout time or something.
I've watched A Dose of Buckley, Stephanie Sterling, and Vinesauce (yeah he's a Twitch streamer, but I only watch his Vods) for over a decade. There's a few others, but those 3 I feel have had the biggest impact on me.
I do vote. Have every year since 2016. I just don't vote Dem cause I live in Missouri and the Dems haven't mattered or tried winning here since before I was born. So I vote third party.
Ok just to state a small bit, I don't have friends in this state. All.of my friends I talk to live elsewhere. It's something I'm working on, but it's been a struggle.
As for my state I live in Missouri. According to your site, Missouri is big red. It breaks down like this:
Republican - 2,046,702 - 49.3%
Democrat - 1,386,451 - 33.4%
Independent - 712,355 - 17.2%
Other - 4,949 - 0.1%
You combine the non-Republican numbers and you get 2,103,755 or 50.6%. So yes it might be possible for a Dem to have a slight edge IF they can win over the other two sides. That's a massive uphill battle considering the people I used to talk to when I worked retail feel the Dems abandon them. The only people still supporting them really are union members and people living in the couple cities. The people outside of the cities that don't have union jobs never feel heard from Dems and the Republicans play into that hard. Even if the Conservatives don't actually do anything positive for them, they at least pretend to care in the run up to election whereas the few Dem candidates refuse to touch the smaller areas.
ACA was Romney's bill.
What do you mean? My red state has a giant horseshoe and.....a couple theme parks I think?

What's the difference between a Mafia movie and a cartel movie other than one being Mexican/Latino?
A lot of ya'll have a lot to say about the surprised Pikachu meme.

Still not as good as the estrogen burger meme

I've been enjoying watching the Internet collectively bully that one AirBnB couple, Cassie and Jon.
I mean I work in a slaughterhouse pulling carcusses with a hook from the cooler out to get cut up. Not sure how losing AI would impact my job.
Capitalists always love to come out of the woodwork to defend it whenever someone discusses communism as a good thing.
I kind of liked how they acknowledged the backwards thinking Thanos had in the new Spider-Man movie and just made it a joke.
