@SunlessGameStudios nice, I keep trying to move to Blender, but I cannot get past the complicated UI. I still use Tinkercad because I know how to get what I want... but I really should learn blender..
@BussyGyatt consider how much you like to tinker with things... 3d printers are not quite fully hands off yet so some amount of patience tweaking research we're is going to be requested especially if you buy used.
However for a lot of people that's the fun part. Tweaking updating and printing can be all kinds of fun.
If you just want to print stuff and don't care about hardware, you will need to spend more to get a better quality machine that just prints.
@PriorityMotif With my Prusa machines, I only modified them to upgrade to the next versions. Prusa has a really nice set up so that when a new version comes out, you can purchase an upgrade kit to bring it up to parity with the latest version using mostly printed parts, or parts from the machine.
My Artillery X2 I had to modify day 1 to make it functional.
The Sovol Zero also needed mods to make it more usable, but they were mostly convenience upgrades for a better spool holder placement.
@AppearanceBoring9229@setsneedtofeed If you've got a 3d printer, the world of modding cars is wide open for you. I've made a ton of weapons, upgrades and stuff for gaslands, being my favorite game.
search Sablebadger on my mini factory and Thingiverse and you'll find loads for gaslands.
@setsneedtofeed@JoMiran Gaslands is a much simpler game as far as I understand. Never played car wars. I do know that Gaslands is really goddamn fun though.
@setsneedtofeed@DaCrazyJamez yeah, I made those models. I post models on my mini factory and on my patreon. I love me some Gaslands so I have lots of models for the game.
@terabyterex poly maker pla is my go to.
@Tywele You nailed the eye makeup game pretty early! Happy HRT-aversary!

Both are valid and both are fun.
@setsneedtofeed looking good! I wish some one in my area played turnip 28
@ooterness @setsneedtofeed if you have a 3d printer, and want more Orky spaceships I made some for OPR: Warfleets, and Void Admiral. https://www.myminifactory.com/object/3d-print-opr-warfleets-orc-marauders-397602
these were a TON of fun to make.

@aneirin nice squigs!
@jokeyrhyme yup. I won't ever set mine up like that.
@AppearanceBoring9229 the templates are always the same size. Scale in the game is pretty loose.

@setsneedtofeed @ranoss yeah, the bootlegger faction. Rusty's.
They can't use any of the straight templates. :)
Lots of fun to play actually.
