Honestly, I’m not sure I have an answer to that… it doesn’t do anything unique, but it does a lot of things really well.
Config is json driven (UI just updates a json file, so you can do more advanced things in the config that the UI doesn’t allow), it has the ability to have multiple types of tabs, i.e, a powershell tab, git tab, WSL tab, etc. It’s fast and not resource intensive. It’s constantly updated. It’s open source with a clear roadmap. Split panes is handled fairly well.
I personally really enjoy Ctrl+c being context sensitive. If I highlight something it copies, if I hit it at the prompt, it will behave like it does in Linux.
I don’t feel like I can sell anyone on one feature, it’s just stable, updated frequently/has good support, and is a great experience (so don’t complain about it). When I’m using something else, there is always some feature I wish it had that Terminal does have.
Yeah, I really enjoy going the new game plus route for this. Having your whole party available to you with their progress carrying over, having the ability to get the characters in your party that you couldn’t get due to lack of conviction points, seeing your conviction points, seeing your path traveled, having your encampment available from the start, and just experiencing the story from different paths is all the reasons to do it.
It would be difficult to start on hard mode, but I would just grind for the moves and characters I know work. Eredor’s provoke, Frederica’s burning chains, Julio’s TP grant move, etc. Really it would just be an optimized run, which I think is less fun (more repetitive) than continuing to level up characters and experiencing their full kits. But to each their own.
So by the time the 2nd play through is over, you are maxed out in level for the main people you play. So the level grinding you mentioned isn’t really there. Maybe some gold grinding to get further in the skill tree, but that should be limited given my play through count. Unless you really want to get everyone to max level, but that is simple, as doing any move will raise your level by one.
I did the Frederica ending first. It was idealistic. Then Roland’s… which was my least favorite. Then Benedict’s which was good. But each have their own drawbacks, thus, the golden ending. I’m looking forward to seeing how it turns out.
At this point I am stuck on the first level. It’s very difficult, and is apparently one of the hardest missions in the game on hard, new game plus. On normal new game plus, it was still easy. Hopefully I can get through it on hard, but the strategies seem to involve breaking the AI and using Quietus, which I hadn’t needed to do before this. We’ll see if I can make it work.
Triangle Strategy. Just finished for the third ending. Will start again for the 4th and final ending. Best game I have played in a while. This might be my first hard mode run.
This is solid if you're somewhat technical. I think it could be simplified with an overview at the beginning.
Pick a desktop environment for testing and download the iso
Format USB
burn iso
boot to usb
test, repeat if necessary
dual boot
non dual boot
MS equivalent programs
I feel like the focus jumps around. If they have already made the decision, no reason to list replacement programs.
Honestly, you might get some better results if you dropped it into AI and asked for a summary/less technical versions of what you wrote. Or it could just make you laugh.
I just replaced the left joystick last night and it didn't even dawn on me to get replacement screws. I did buy a repair kit, which had the tweezers, spudgers and the necessary screw drivers, all of which came in handy. I really wish you would have posted this 12 hours sooner, though replacing the triwings would be fairly easy.
It is super nice to have a guilikit hall effect stick. I didn't touch the right one for now, as I wanted to make sure the left one was working given a few of the Amazon reviews. But so far, so good.
Definitely not arguing with you. It should be encrypted as they said. There was an issue with the live stream of the cameras being available. For me, it was doorbell. No harm, no foul to me. Saved videos were still encrypted. Doesn't make it ok.
They handled it poorly. But I do believe it has been patched based on their eventual response to the issue.
At the end of the day, I was asking as I thought another event had happened.
I got all of my info from the verge printing Eufy's (eventual) response.
Tbh, I thought that was resolved. From what I can tell, it was. While a vulnerability like that is damning, it seems that they patched their web portal where the bug was and it was the end of it.
I can't believe this is still going. I used this back in the day as the superior AIM client. This was truly a blast from the past that I didn't expect in 2025.
Oof. Then that seems more on the ops side of things. Interesting. I can’t wait for them to never share what happened so we can all continue to speculate. 😂
We need a monthly AI generated report. Instead of Executice Summary at the top, it gives a Casualties and Surveillance Summary.
I didn’t even know it had quake mode or what that was. But if it works, great. Just one more feature to keep folks enjoying it.
For you it’s quake mode, for me it’s context sensitive ctrl+c. Everyone has their thing for their workflows to be optimal for them.

I want it for Linux too, but I use Tabby as it is the closest thing I have found to it.

Most places I've been at have only OS restrictions when the corporate IT doesn't support it. To be honest, while not perfect, WSL on Windows is great.
Awesome. Pumped for this after TMNT Shredder's Revenge.

Transparent menu with an applet in the middle. No dock. If you're looking for a dock, I recommend Plank. Very simple. Just works.
Just installed it today. I had been using KDE Neon for the last 6+ months and really enjoyed it, but I had issues I couldn't google my way out of.
That looks great. Excited to see more of it, and really enjoyed the cut scene, character design, and the small look at gameplay. Consider me teased.

Damn it. What happened with Eufy? I like my doorbell.

What about the experience is miserable? I’m just curious as I really like it.
