It's definitely worth giving your keyboard a try just to see if you like leverless controllers. I played on one before picking up a proper leverless so I could play on console.

The nice thing about playing on keyboard is that you have a lot of control over which buttons you use.

Personally, I like binding my attack buttons to 4-9 on my numpad, then using 0 with my thumb for something like throw and something on the + i can hit with my pinky. Then on the other side I go asd and space for movement and have shift for whatever game dependant thing I need.

There's a lot of times I miss having all those buttons.

Anyway, since you've already got the keyboard, you might as well give it a shot.

I figured it'd be the opposite since potions are so much stronger in bg3. The ability to throw potions makes anyone a bit of a healer, multiattack even lets you throw two. Plus, being able to use one as a bonus action let's people take care of themselves a bit better.

It also helps that the default cleric (Shadowheart) isn't life so someone would have to specifically roll one.
