Ah, I only watch occasional video of his and wondered what AvE meant and why there was a microcontroller on the icon of a dude who mainly does tool reviews. I figured he was probably conservative being rural, but I never heard anything concerning in the few videos I watched. Guess that changes things.

You know what makes food taste good? Fat and salt. Lots of it. You know what's bad for the body? Lots of fat and salt. I'm here for a good time, not a long time. Gimme those deep fried cheese sticks.

Firing several hundred people in a profession vital to safety that's already stretched thin, implementing a hiring freeze so they cannot be replaced, and them blaming DEI practices for the recent crashes is certainly not going to help a thing. I have yet to see anything he's done that is actually beneficial. I mean, I agree with the penny bit, but you can't just bibbidy bopity boop them out of circulation.

The people it would be influencing would be the older republicans. Basically the Reaganites. They're not the brainwashed maga, but still vote republican. It should have helped show them that the guy they thought of as a warhawk and far right wing won't even vote for the guy then maybe they shouldn't either.

Admittedly, I didn't like Harris walking around with Liz Chaney because main steam democrats are already too centrist. It would never help sway republican voters but would scare away democratic voters to be seen hand-in-hand with a person who praised trump in his first term.

Republicans don't improve anything except profits for the top 1%. Not only are they not going to make healthy food more available or affordable, Trump's hard on for mass deportation is actually driving up the cost of produce.

And don't forget the "ASMR" post from a day or two before that. Imagine if the whitehouse posted something like a thunderstorm and captioned it "ASMR: conservatives crying over bakeries making cakes for gay weddings." while Biden was in office.

Or that Dick Cheney said he would vote for a democrat. You'd think that would help influence a few more people. The guys who were considered the hard right just 10-15 years prior are now saying "nah, fuck that guy. He's a lunatic".
