Oh man if nothing else give Stardew Valley an hour of your screen time. One of the absolute best casual and relaxing gaming experiences. You can feel the love of the developer in every aspect of the game. If you regret it come find me and I will publicly apologize! (Though find me quickly as lemm.ee is dying next week)

Harry Potter. Keep Alan Rickman obviously.

I would watch the shit out of this. Maybe before I die AI will get good enough to make this a reality for me.

Sir Bedevere:
...and that, my liege, is how we know the Earth to be banana shaped.

King Arthur:
This new learning amazes me, Sir Bedevere. Explain again how sheep's bladders may be employed to prevent earthquakes.

One of my absolute favorite subjects! Check out "The History of Rome" podcast by Mike Duncan (dont let the audio quality of the first few episodes dissuade you, it gets suddenly better very quickly). Mr Duncan goes deep on details and provides sources if you want to dig deeper. It's a great listen that covers the mythical period all the way to the fall of the eastern empire.

Never fails that about this time every year I give Hybrid Theory a listen. Had such an impact on me when it came out that it seems to have left a permanent mark on the change from summer to autumn for me.

Love this sentiment. Honestly I never thought I’d see my home of Georgia go blue. 2020 was a powerful reminder that there is still power in our votes. Keep the pressure up until all of these wannabe fascists are gone.

If anyone from Georgia sees this; you can request a mail-in ballot beginning August 20th! It’s my favorite way to vote because it’s easy and comfortable. The fact that it seems to annoy the fascism party is a really nice bonus too.

Purely anecdotal of course, but I switched to a whole food, plant based diet after my first high cholesterol diagnosis at the age of 36. Within six months my doctor was astonished that my cholesterol dropped by 78 points and was no longer considered high.

If you can manage the effort of changing, it’s entirely worth it for your health. I have two young children and I am committed to doing everything in my power to be around for them as long as I can. If i have to sacrifice some tasty foods to do that for them, it’s worth it.

I do miss cheese though… so very very much…
