I’m no developer, just so some casual scripting for my job, but lines of code being a performance metric is a hilarious notion. Like, the indicator of good code is that it’s efficiently written in a small number of lines. It’s similarly just as easy to waste tokens on nothing of value.
I was gonna say you’d be surprised how many waste particles fly around the room with the seat up - but from the sound of it, even more went everywhere with it down!
I’ve been repairing my own clothes and furniture for myself and my wife for years, and I haven’t so much as watched a YouTube video. When you do a bad job, just take the thread out and try again.
That is absolutely the trend I’m seeing with younger people. I work hard to curate and maintain a high quality media library, but they’re happy to stream something in low quality from a sketchy site and move on.
No shit… If you want to solve the common frustration of not being able to find settings, maybe don’t put half of them in a settings app and the other half in the control panel, and then rename and move all of them every year.
Doesn’t change the fact that I would love to get off of Windows but still rely on it! I am a technical person and have discovered that currently Linux is just not an option for my needs.
I DJ on twitch, but haven’t found software that’s compatible with my hardware, and I also do it on VRchat which has anti-cheat and so it can’t run at all. There are other smaller things but that’s the deal breaker.
Yeah every thread is basically “lol bro just use Linux, skill issue”… I’m very comfortable with Linux, shell scripting and all those things. Been doing is almost 30 years. There are a wide range of things that are just not supported, which makes it a non-starter for a lot of people.
How can you have that much time without having finished act 1? Is it from multiple saves? You can totally clean out everything there is to do in act 1 in about a third of that time.
Having watched all of Mythic Quest, I had no idea what you meant and looked it up - I didn’t realize there was any connection. How does the show promote Ubisoft?

How long ago was that? Even 7-8 years ago it was more true but it’s changed quite a bit in recent years
Assuming they meant in their country, and that their country is USA, bottom 10% as of 2023 was $15-18K. https://dqydj.com/2023-income-percentile-calculator/
I don’t think I’ve seen any UE5 game that’s been released with traversal stutter have it fixed… so, I presume not as well.
Next step: Faking your own death

Or rely on software that is not available in Linux and can’t be emulated, which unfortunately applies to both my work and personal use
I can teach you how for $300

Haha yes vrchat can be a weird and terrifying place. There are normal people, but it takes a lot of work to find them.
